Ben Gershel brushed wool, double breasted fitted coat with large dramatic "bertha" type collar. Coat is nipped at the waist with a skirt that flares. Collar extends over the shoulder and deepens in the back with a slit up the middle, which allows the collar to be folded in various ways, by bringing it forward.. A mid 1950's silhouette reminiscent of the Dior "New Look" created in 1949..
Coat is charcoal gray toned and has a beautiful shape. Old Saks Fifth Ave label.
